GC Kids

Every child should be able to learn about Jesus in a fun, safe environment. We believe in Fairview; we believe in Families and we believe in the Next Generation.

Parenting is an important job and navigating life & faith with kids can be overwhelming but you are not alone. GC Kids wants to equip you with resources to parent well and partner with you throughout the week.

Bring your kids (birth-5thgrade) on Sundays during the 9a & 11:11a services to experience Jesus in a fun safe environment.

Our Promise to You:

Your child’s safety. There are high security standards and practices to help ensure the safety of every child entrusted in our care.

Creative Biblical Teaching. Our lessons are Bible-based and anchored to the gospel of Jesus. We want every kid to trust in Jesus in a way that transforms how they love God, themselves, and the world around them.

Age-Appropriate Learning. Each phase of a kids life has different spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental needs. We recognize that Biblical truth needs to be presented in a way that is developmentally relevant to each age group if we want it to stick.

Relational Discipleship. We want kids to be in a small group of peers connected to a consistent adult who can guide their spiritual growth. When we put a trusted adult (beside a parent) in the life of a child, we provide an additional voice reinforcing core values.

Simple for Parents to Continue at Home. We include resources you can use at strategic times throughout the week to reinforce what was talked about on Sunday.

Preschool (Birth-5 years)

Preschool children ages six weeks-PreK will experience a safe environment, Jesus centered programming, fun activities and of course snack time.  We want to help every preschooler discover God by teaching:

God MADE me
God LOVES me
Jesus wants to be my friend FOREVER

Elementary (K-5th grade)

Elementary aged children grades K-5th grade will experience games, worship, Bible teaching and small groups.  We believe that small groups with a consistent leader builds trust and connection.  We want to see every child have an authentic faith and growing relationship with Jesus.  Along with that we want these three things to stick:

I need to make the wise choice.
I can trust God no matter what.
I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Can Do (Special Needs)

We believe the church should be a refuge for families with special needs. The heart of our Can Do ministry is to see families come to church together, knowing every member of their family belongs. It's about children and adults having a safe place where they can be themselves, learn about Jesus, and know they are loved perfectly by their Creator!

There are several options for our kids with special needs to help them succeed at church including a sensory room and a traditional Sunday school environment with a little extra support from a consistent buddy.

If you are new to Can Do, we ask you to take two steps: First, please fill out a Child Profile form, and second, please schedule your initial visitThis will give us a comprehensive look at your child so we can learn how to best serve your family. You will be asked to remain with your child in our sensory environment on your initial visit.  The purpose is twofold:  This allows Grace Chapel staff and volunteers to learn from you and your interactions with your child, and for you to make sure the assigned class is the most appropriate.

How Secure Check-In Works

Safety is our top priority. Our Welcome Team would love to help you at one of our four check-in stations. Here you’ll receive a number and your child will receive a name tag with a matching number. If you are needed during the service the number will appear on a display in the sanctuary and chapel. You will also need your number tag to pick up your children.

Grace Chapel volunteers are background checked to ensure the safety of your children.
